The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 is a track tyre (semi slick tire), which meets the legal requirements for use on the public highway.

This tyre has been specifically optimised for use on a dry track and is the optional tyre supplied by Ford, specifically when used with their forged wheel option. It's also the perfect partner for our exclusive lightweight OZ Leggera wheels or fifteen52 19" Super Touring range.

The Pilot Sport Cup 2 features the distribution of two different compounds between the Exterior and Interior parts of the tread. The exterior section uses a “High Molecular Chain” elastomer of the right hardness for high grip; offering exceptional dry grip in tight bends. The interior uses a more rigid elastomer for precise steering and driving control.

    Great tyres. Be aware they don't last long on the track. Nothing wrong with the tyre they overheat on the outside edge. The RS is a heavy car and needs more negative camber which is a bit hard to set up without coil overs. I would recommend the tyres for short sprints and B road driving. Go get some coil overs for track days. Maybe Mountune have some in the pipeline

    Excellent summer dry weather tyre that you can take to a track day. Fantastic mid corner grip that inspires confidence. Care setting tyre pressures needed to avoid overheating if doing more than a sprint. Wet handing is acceptable but care needed in standing water. Not the tyre to get if you like drift mode or freezing weather.
