The mountune Uprated Turbo Re-Circulating Valve is a direct replacement for the OE component.
Machined from solid aluminium with a piston-type design (compared to the OE diaphragm) the more robust design and material are suitable for vehicles in advanced state of tune.
A diaphragm-design recirculation valve could function less effectively when the pressure differential across the turbocharger compressor housing is increased above the original operating conditions. This can cause the valve to open prematurely, leading to possible turbocharger damage due to increased turbo shaft speed.
mountune's engineers have designed an uprated, more robust valve that features a metal piston and rubber sealing system. This design also features an uprated spring that improves sealing pressure, which allows the valve to remain closed under high pressure conditions.
This product is compatible with mk2 Focus RS and Mk3 Focus ST models.

Had this turbo re-circulating valve When I was having the service done I've got to say it makes so much difference to the car there's more turbo boost and it's more robust then the original part everytime I put my foot down he put a big smile on my face if you not had this fitted I would strongly recommend it if you've had the car mapped it just helps the turbo out a **** of a lot more big thanks to Ryan and mountune team
Great service again from the guys at Mountune HQ Essex, this visit saw me upgrade my re-circulating valve. The car seems to be smoother under acceleration as it holds boost pressure for longer giving longevity to the power. Great stuff guys.
