Very easy to use. Impressed with the immob map also, leaving the car for a time maped to not start is a great feature..quick remap and your away.
My car was already at MP215. I had the MR230 map along with all the other supporting hardware. This is not a cheap upgrade but worth it on so many levels. The car is much more eager across the rev range and just wants to go. I always felt that (lack of) noise was a real let down with the ST but there is now some real drama to it. Having said that, you could still do long motorway trips without it being too much so for me it's the perfect balance. Haven't had the car on track yet but the only question remaining is if it needs the LSD.
Absolutely amazing, I brought all the hardware for the MR230 and fitted everything while already being MP215. Looking at Mountune's chart on power differences i was a little worried as I wasn't sure if i would notice a big difference between MP215 and MR230. Being at the stage where I needed to get it done as I fitted the sports cat and the engine light was on, i didn't really have a choice. Luckily Mountune is fairly local to me and i waited with the vehicle while it was being fitted and i was talking to Fred saying i'm not sure what to expect. Fred said "MR230 is one of my favourite upgrades we have ever offered, it makes a great car even better" that really made we quite excited to drive the car. On the way home I have to agree its an animal the way it puts the power down is amazing. Highly recommend this if you have a MK7.5 ST 180. As always it was a real pleasure seeing the team again, although being in this Period of Uncertainty, but they are handling the issue very well.
