The mountune Focus Roll Restrictor reduces the amount of engine roll / movement during hard acceleration and changing gear, plus helps reduce 'wheel-hop', particularly when the power output has been increased.
With a product such as this, care must be taken with the design and choice of materials, as a poor design can destroy the feel and driving experience of the car.
With an extensive background working in the OEM market, mountune have the knowledge and engineering expertise to create a product which can reduce the engine movement by the desired amount, but with minimal effect to the NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) level.
The mountune Focus roll restrictor is machined from high quality HE30 aluminium, and features a unique size and shore hardness polyurethane bush.
The bonus of using polyurethane is that not only has it been engineered to give increased stiffness without causing excessive vibrations, it also doesn’t deteriorate like rubber does, so the service life of the component is greatly increased.

Definitely notice the car is more responsive off the line, more feel and control feedback from the clutch. Highly recommended if adding more power before investing in a differential.
Keeps the gear change very positive, compliments my billet short shifter perfectly. Usual excellent service, hospitality and waiting area. Thanks Ryan
Had this fitted by Mountune along with the billet short shifter, the two work really well to tighten up the feel of the drive and acceleration through the gears. I can’t speak for the wheel hop as I also have the Quaife diff which I suspect helps get rid of that too. What I can unequivocally say is that the increase in so called NVH is virtually non existent, I’d think most would not even notice unless it was pointed out, and actually if you do notice a slight vibration it’s a quality feeling one which makes you feel more connected to the car and which gives the ST a slightly more genuinely sporty feel / character. Highly recommended.
