Founded in 1980 by David Mountain, mountune have been designing and building race engines and fast-road performance parts for over 40 years.
During that time we've powered teams around the world to victory in WRC, BTCC, WTCC, CTCC, GRC, World RX, Formula Ford, F2 and many, many more high-level championships.
In addition, our extensive experience tuning road cars led to multiple Ford factory-special editions powered with our performance upgrades, as well as approved tuner status. This meant that selected road car products (signified as 'mountune performance') would not affect the base vehicle warranty on your Ford vehicle.
This high-level approach and ethos is still applicable today and every product we produce has to pass a stringent sign-off procedure, which in-turn ensures that any product carrying the mountune name, also comes with complete peace of mind.
Our HQ is based near Brentwood in Essex, UK and is open Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
