Deagen Fairclough delivered a dominant double victory at Brands Hatch, while Lucas Fluxa claimed his first win of the season as the 2026 GB3 Championship title fight was extended to the season finale in Barcelona.
It was another action packed weekend for the mountune powered GB3 grid, with Fairclough producing two commanding performances before Fluxa kept his championship hopes alive in Race 3. GB3
FAIRCLOUGH SETS THE PACE
Fairclough started the weekend from pole position and immediately established himself as the driver to beat.
The Hitech driver controlled Race 1 from the front, building a 14.392 second advantage over Maxim Rehm by the chequered flag. Championship leader Nikita Bedrin completed the podium in third.
It was Fairclough’s sixth victory of the season and his fifth win from seven races, with his winning margin also ranking as the fourth largest in GB3 history. GB3
TWO FROM TWO
Fairclough continued where he left off in Race 2.
An early safety car reduced his initial advantage, but after the restart he once again pulled clear of the field. He eventually crossed the line 7.432 seconds ahead of Rowan Campbell Pilling to secure his seventh victory of the season.
Bedrin finished third to add another podium to his championship campaign, while Martin Molnar and Rehm completed the top five. GB3
FLUXA KEEPS THE TITLE FIGHT ALIVE
Race 3 provided a very different challenge, with the top 12 reversed and Lucas Fluxa starting fourth.
The Xcel Motorsport driver made an exceptional start, taking the lead before Paddock Hill Bend and remaining there for the rest of the race to secure his first GB3 victory of the season.
Yuhao Fu finished second to claim his first GB3 podium, while returning Hitech driver Kanato Le completed the top three. GB3
Fairclough produced another impressive drive from 12th on the grid, climbing to fifth in the amended classification and completing a weekend that moved him into second in the championship.
For Bedrin, a 10 second penalty for moving on the starting grid dropped him to 11th and prevented him from securing the championship at Brands Hatch. GB3
FOUR DRIVERS. ONE ROUND REMAINS.
The results mean the 2026 GB3 Championship will be decided at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya.
Bedrin remains at the top of the standings, but Fairclough’s Brands Hatch performance has moved him into the position of his nearest challenger. Fluxa also remains in contention, with four drivers still mathematically capable of taking the title heading into the final round. GB3
Every car on the GB3 grid continues to compete with mountune power, with the 2026 car using the 2.4 litre mountune engine introduced for this season. GB3
With three races remaining, the championship now heads to Barcelona on 7 and 8 November for the final chapter of the 2026 season.
