At mountune, we take pride in the performance, quality and reliability of everything we engineer. That commitment does not stop once your car leaves our workshop.
The mountune Modified Car Warranty, provided in partnership with Warrantywise, is designed specifically for vehicles fitted with mountune upgrades. It provides protection for both the components we fit and the vehicle they are fitted to, exclusively for mountune modified Ford and Volkswagen Group cars.
Two levels of cover
The level of protection available is determined by the age and mileage of your vehicle when the warranty begins.
mountune modified plus
Up to 7 years old and under 70,000 miles
Our most comprehensive level of protection, providing extensive cover across the vehicle. Available for 12, 24 or 36 months.
mountune modified
8 to 15 years old, or 70,001 to 150,000 miles
Protection for the vehicle’s major components, with some exclusions compared with Modified Plus. Available for 12, 24 or 36 months.
Worth knowing
Only mountune calibrations are covered. Any illegal modification fitted to the vehicle will breach the terms of the warranty and invalidate the cover.
Your warranty can be extended at the end of the agreed term, subject to the vehicle passing a further inspection before the new period of cover begins. Terms and conditions apply to each package.

Before the warranty can begin
Every car is inspected first
Before cover can begin, every vehicle must pass an inspection. This confirms that the car meets the required standard and provides a clear record of its condition at the start of the warranty.
The 130 point inspection is carried out at mountune HQ in Hutton, Essex and is included in the price of the warranty. Any work required to bring the vehicle up to the required standard will be quoted separately.
