Roger Moran has secured the 2026 British Hillclimb Championship Tin Top Challenge title, completing a successful season behind the wheel of the Olsbergs OMSE Ford Fiesta powered by mountune.
The championship was decided at the final meeting of the season at Prescott Hill Climb, bringing the curtain down on the 2026 British Hillclimb Championship.
Roger arrived at the finale at the head of the Tin Top standings following a strong and consistent campaign, with the title still to be secured.
At the heart of Roger’s campaign has been the Olsbergs OMSE Ford Fiesta, powered by a mountune developed engine and delivering the performance required for one of the most demanding disciplines in British motorsport.
Hillclimbing presents a unique challenge. With competition measured against the clock and little opportunity to recover from a mistake, every run demands outright performance, response and reliability.
Roger demonstrated that consistency throughout the season, scoring at every round on his way to the title.
TITLE SECURED AT PRESCOTT
With the championship on the line, the season returned to Prescott for its final meeting.
Roger completed his title winning campaign in fitting style, taking victory in the final Tin Top Challenge Run Off of the season to secure his first title in the category.
It capped a successful campaign for Roger and another championship for mountune powered machinery.
The result also demonstrates the breadth of mountune’s motorsport engineering capabilities, with our powertrains competing across circuit racing, single seaters and hillclimbing throughout the 2026 season.
