The mountune baffled sump kit includes an engineered baffled oil sump insert, developed by mountune’s Racing division that features one-way gates and diverters to maintain oil supply around the oil pump pick-up, easily mounts to existing locations and includes required fasteners.
Validated under extreme conditions, the mountune baffled sump kit is perfect for track day use or other hard driving conditions.

Again Blights of Bideford came to the rescue and fitted this kit to my MR265 this morning. This was a"peace of Mind" purchase because without any oil pressure warning system, damage can be done and an expensive bill is the result! I watched the whole process so Anyone attempting to DIY fit this kit should know that removing the sump bolts is easy, splitting the sump pan from the block is not so easy and care is needed. Ideally a special tool fitted to the sump drain hole to assist with pulling the two surfaces apart is needed. It is not a good idea to try and lever them apart as there is a risk of damaging the edge/surface of the sump pan. The mating surfaces need to be carefully cleaned and the correct silicone sealant used to form a proper gasket. The sump bolts should be torqued correctly and the sealant allowed to go off for 30 minutes before adding new oil. When looking at the contents of the kit it does seem expensive but it is typical Mountune quality and fitted perfectly..... cheaper than a blown engine!
