Take your mountune-equipped Mk3 Focus RS to the next level with an upgrade from the m380 calibration to either the m400R or m400X.
This ultra-convenient, smartphone-based upgrade delivers significant gains in power, torque and drivability, while retaining the safety, reliability and durability standards that mountune is known for.
As with all mountune performance calibrations, the m400R and m400X have undergone our stringent durability testing programme. This included additional months of in-cylinder pressure monitoring to validate engine robustness, while retaining all key safety parameters.
Please note: The m400X calibration is exclusively available for vehicles equipped with a forged engine. It must not be installed on an engine with standard internals, as the increased performance demands of the m400X calibration may result in engine failure. Customers with standard engine internals will therefore only be supplied with the m400R calibration.
This upgrade is only available to customers who currently have the mountune m380 calibration installed on their vehicle.
As part of the upgrade process, proof of purchase of the m380 calibration will be required before the upgrade can be supplied.

Once your proof of purchase has been verified, the upgrade can be processed through the mTune SMARTflash app.
With the mTune SMARTflash app, installing and updating your calibration couldn't be easier. Simply connect the supplied Bluetooth OBD interface to your vehicle and use your smartphone to flash the ECU.
No laptop. No cables. No handset. No problem.
Once you've selected and installed your chosen performance calibration through the SMARTflash app, you can switch between the regular and + versions of the calibration at any time by pressing and holding the Cancel button on the steering wheel.
The latest version of SMARTflash also provides a range of additional functionality, including:

All three performance calibrations are supplied as part this upgrade and provide a very noticeable and useable uplift in power and torque across the entire rev-range.
Compared to the standard vehicle it's quite literally on another level and m380, m400r and m400x are all easily changed in seconds using nothing more than your smartphone and our OBD Bluetooth adaptor.
The latest upgrade also includes the m375 Ford-endorsed calibration, at no extra cost.
Please note: 97RON+ fuel should be used with m400x. If this is not available, the m380 or m400r calibration should be utilised to maintain reliability.
Individual vehicle output may vary based on vehicle condition, external parameters and method of testing.
Important: In order to achieve and maintain performance and reliability, the m375 m380 m400r and m400x calibrations should be used in conjunction with the hardware listed below. To achieve peak performance figures 97RON+ fuel should be used, however, m380 and m400r remain perfectly safe to use everyday on 95RON fuel, 97RON+ should be used when running m400x.
