mTune SMARTflash m235 to m260 Upgrade [Puma ST] - electronic download

This option is for existing m235 SMARTflash customers who want to take advantage of the enhanced power and torque of the m260 calibration.

The mountune m260 power upgrade for the Puma ST delivers up to 260PS and 365Nm from Ford’s 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine, while retaining the factory GPF and catalyst.

The additional torque is delivered across a wide spread of the rev range, transforming the driving experience with stronger acceleration, improved responsiveness and greater flexibility. By removing some of the inherent bottlenecks in the OE hardware, the optimised calibration increases peak power to between 250-260PS while maintaining an engaging top-end.

Recommended Hardware

For optimum performance, engine efficiency and reliability, we recommend using m260 with:

• Induction kit or carbon induction kit
• Charge pipe upgrade
• Uprated intercooler

m260 SMARTflash Upgrade

The m260 SMARTflash upgrade adds the following performance calibration:

• m260 performance calibration
• Up to 260PS / 365Nm
• More aggressive launch control strategy
• Optimised no-lift shift functionality

Important Information

m260 should only be used with 97 RON+ fuel and the recommended supporting hardware. If lower-octane fuel is the only option available, we recommend switching back to the m235 calibration, which is suitable for use on normal unleaded fuel.

You must already have an m235 SMARTflash upgrade/app to install this companion calibration.

Installing m260 without the recommended hardware may result in failure to achieve the quoted power and torque figures, abnormal running, increased fuel consumption, engine warning lights or, in extreme circumstances, engine damage or failure. In such circumstances, no warranty is offered or implied by mountune.
