Quaife ATB Differential

Available exclusively from mountune, the Quaife ATB helical LSD differential for mk7 Fiesta ST fits the B6 gearbox. A direct replacement for the standard Ford open differential, the Quaife differential transforms your car's performance.

Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the Quaife differential relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation. That means it is much smoother in operation and never locks harshly with a set pre-load of wheel slip across the driven axle.

Instead, the Quaife differential automatically biases the torque away from the spinning wheel, across the axle to a constantly varying degree.

Benefits over a standard open differential:

  • maximise traction
  • minimise wheel spin
  • reduced torque steer and snatching in front wheel drive cars
  • a maintenance-free design which retains the standard oil lubrication

Quaife differentials are proven in circuit and drag racing, rallying and road use. All Quaife differentials are produced from Corus steel billets, and are CAD-designed and CNC machined before being inspected to ISO 9001 standards.

Quaife ATB

Had this fitted at HQ a couple of weeks ago and the car has been completely transformed! This paired with the MR230 kit is the perfect setup

Quaife ATB

Got this fitted yesterday at mountune hq. Mountune hq is a fantastic place and all the team are very friendly and professional. As for the diff I am feeling big differences but the roads are so slippery at the minute so can’t fully test it out. Looking forward for the summer to see what it can really do

Just buy it!

Traction is just insane. Just why it's not fitted from the factory?! The difference is like a day and night. Combined together with MR230 it's absolutely fantastic. It may be a little expensive, but it's worth every penny. Just be warned - you have to get used to it or you can "overdo" a turn (sorry, hard to explain in English :)) - oversteer feeling. As an added bonus (huge one!) - clunking sound as you shift through the gears that is present in almost every MK7 ST is now finally gone!
