Engineered to unlock the true potential of the EA888 platform, the mountune m430 Performance Upgrade delivers a substantial increase in both power and torque for the Mk7 Golf R. Developed to provide enhanced performance without compromising refinement or drivability, the package offers output levels between 400–440PS and up to 630Nm of torque when used with the required supporting hardware and 99RON fuel.
Designed for both manual and DSG-equipped vehicles, the m430 calibration builds upon decades of OEM+ performance engineering experience. The result is a package that delivers exceptional response, increased mid-range performance and sustained top-end power, while maintaining the everyday usability expected from a mountuneupgrade.
The m430 package is designed for use with a Garrett turbocharger and the supporting modifications listed below. Calibration management is handled via the mountune SMARTflash OBD device, allowing convenient installation and switching directly through the vehicle’s OBD port. SMARTflash also provides access to additional functionality including live gauge monitoring, performance timers and diagnostic features. Existing SMARTflash users can request an updated calibration for use with their current device.
As with all mountune performance upgrades, durability and long-term reliability remain key considerations throughout development and testing. Each component and calibration has been extensively evaluated to ensure seamless integration with the Golf R platform.
Additional SMARTflash functionality includes an anti-theftcalibration for added convenience and security.
With up to 450PS and 630Nm available, the m430 transforms the Golf R into a significantly more responsive and capable performance hatchback, delivering increased output and enhanced driving engagement throughout the rev range.
If you’re upgrading from our m360 package and already own the SMARTflash Reader, just choose the "Existing m360" option, as this will not include the SMARTFlash device.
